Cosmo Films has announced that Sandeep Dutta will take over as president of the company’s US operations. His re-designation is designed to strengthen Cosmo Films’ position in the North American market.

Dutta has been associated with the company for nine years, leading several sales and manufacturing teams. As part of its internal restructuring, Cosmo Films’ sales and marketing teams are now being led by Ed Dorsey and Chuck Thompson, respectively. Each sales group across the US will also receive seven to eight new people.

“In his new role as president, US operations, Sandeep is responsible for growing the business with enhanced products and special deliveries,” says Pankaj Poddar, CEO. 

Cosmo Films has also invested $1 million in capacity expansion and facility upgrades at its Western Maryland Parkway site in Hagerstown, MD, USA, which manufactures thermal lamination films in BOPP, PET, and nylon.
